Learning

One of the main instructions given to the leaders of the church was to be able to teach. Leaders are also commanded to equip the saints so that they can also carry out the work of the minsitry, and this exactly what our skilled teachers desire to do.

Coming to our services should be a time of worship and fellowship, but also of mental strengthening. Sermons are understandable but yet stimulating to the mind with respect to accurate doctrine and implication.

Going

The Great Commission of Matthew 28 tells us that we must be going into all the world, making disciples of persons in all nations. At Locust Grove, we aim to take that seriously by using whatever means we have to promote worldwide missions.

We support missionaries in foreign countries all over the world. Spreading the message of Jesus Christ cannot be limited.

Worship

Worship is how we express our love, adoration, admiration, and wonder at God’s presence. The Christian breathes in God’s goodness and exhales worship. At Locust Grove, worship has become synonymous with singing—but that’s just one way that worship expresses itself.

True worship happens when our entire life becomes a declaration of trust in God’s incredible mercy. Paul expressed this very idea when he said, “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” (Romans 12:1)

Caring

Love for others is to be a hallmark trait of Christians. At Locust Grove, we hope to teach from God's Word how to love and then to actually live it out by his strength.
